OUR TECHNOLOGY - STATE OF THE ART MESSAGING

Trivium Framework: Content + Messaging = Community

E-mail Print PDF

The Trivium Collaborative Framework is a web application designed to apply a message exchange technology atop any number of document-centric applications, including:

  • Scientific or technical publishing (online 'Journal Clubs')
  • Distance learning
  • Customer support
  • Custom projects Trivium screenshot

The innovative technology allows team members to attach 'micro-references', connections between phrases of notes and passages of text, images, or data from any web-based project asset. This approach finally removes the 'document barrier' - the previously accepted constraint that limited document references to complete pages. (Click here (creating notes: 1:21) to see a demonstration of how 'micro-references' are created).

The framework used to build communities for the publishing markets can also be delivered to companies through customized internal projects:

  • Internal Development Project Notebook - collection of text notes and references exchanged or saved by software development team members (demo - 1:21)
  • Online document review services (demo: 0:36)
  • Project trace notes that connect requirement to design documents, and design documents to executed test cases
  • A service extension that applies the same reference technology to images and sensory data for remote interpretation (demo: 2:18)

This exciting technology is now available to any business or enterprise that is looking to enhance the value of its published assets for its community of stakeholders.

The Trivium Framework is a web application that can be served by a 'TFS' (Trivium Framework Server), or can be deployed behind the the corporate firewall as part of the project Intranet.

The application uses W3C standard browser technology to implement a mult-frame appllication that access all the web applications on the same domain ---- any XHTML standard web page that collects the digital assets of an organization in the same domain as the TFS can be 'message enabled' for community use.

The application itself uses cost-effective open source resources for deployment:

  • PHP server (Zend Framework)
  • MySQL database
  • Linux/Fedora/Centos server (preferred)
  • Apache web server
